cGMP is defined as:
“That part of Quality Assurance which ensures that products are consistently produced and controlled to the quality standards appropriate to their intended use and as required by the Marketing Authorisation or product specification”.
Example of cGMP Requirements:
Personnel Training : The personnel should always be trained on the required application to achieve the optimum jobs.
Cleaning : Surface Roughness should be less than 0.8 µm
Roughness is the irregularities which are inherent in the production process (ex. Cutting tool or abrasive grit)
